If you’ve ever wondered what an Indian Military Academy complete form looks like, you’ve come to the right place. The IMA has more than a thousand acres and trains male candidates to become army officers. It is a beautiful, well-rounded environment. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about different facets of military life, from physical training to intellectual pursuits.
The academy was founded in 1932. Since then, it has expanded from a small school of forty cadets to over sixteen hundred. The academy was initially named the Armed Forces College, but in 1949, it was expanded into the Armed Forces Academy. In 1959, the academy moved to Khadakwasla in Pune. In 1962, the school was renamed the Indian Military Academy, and the Joint Services Wing was moved to Khadakwasla in Pune, where the Indian Army is located.
The academy consists of several branches that Lieutenant Generals lead. Each branch is staffed with instructors divided into academic departments and service training teams. Applicants must pass the CDSE written exam and SSB and medical exams before joining the academy. This exam is held twice a year, in March/April and November/October.
IMA recruits male graduates through the CDSE examination. After passing the written and SSB exams, male candidates must undergo medical tests before they can be enrolled in the academy. Applicants must be between 19 and 24 years old. Alternatively, they can choose to complete a technical graduate course in the relevant branch. In any case, the essential prerequisite to joining the academy is physical fitness.
Since its establishment, the academy has produced many notable alums. Among these are India’s First Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw and numerous recipients of the Param Vir Chakra, the highest military award in the country. Other alums include Lieutenant Colonel Hoshiar Singh, Captain Vikram Batra, and Captain Somnath Sharma. During World War II, IMA alums were awarded 71 Military Crosses.
The Indian Medical Association (IMA) is an association of medical professionals in India. Its members are elected to the Central Council, responsible for the Association’s policies and day-to-day activities. The AMA also has several Standing Committees that deal with specific subjects. It holds regular meetings and elects office bearers once a year. It also organizes scientific sessions and annual conferences.
The IMA was founded in 1928. It has a rich history and has been active throughout the freedom struggle. Since its formation, the IMA has made significant contributions to the medical profession in India. The first annual conference was held in Calcutta in 1917 and the second in Delhi in 1918, with Sir Nil Ratan Sircar as its president.
The IMA also has over a hundred State and local branches throughout India. These branches have their buildings and offer free accommodation to their members. To become a member of the IMA, you must fill out the entire application and pay the appropriate membership fees. Send your application to the Honorary General Secretary of the IMA, I.M.A. House, Indraprastha Marg, New Delhi, or you can contact the State Secretary in your State. You can also contact the local branch secretary in your town for a membership application.
Among its publications, the IMA publishes the Journal of Indian Medicine, which is mailed to all members. The IMA also publishes bulletins in English and Hindi to educate the general public about healthcare issues. Its headquarters also publishes a monthly journal called the IMA News.
