Scramble Eggs in their shells with the Golden Goose
May 12th, 2014 | by Fletcher
Kickstarter never ceases to amaze us, and there’s always a new gadget waiting to be found and funded. Our latest favorite is a device that really isn’t high-tech at all, but is cool nonetheless as it allows eggs to be scrambled in their shells.
The Golden Goose comes from the minds at Geraint Krumpe of Y Line Product Design and it uses centrifugal force and a little hand power to pull off the magical feat known as the “golden egg.” This eliminates whipping the egg in a bowl if you want scrambled eggs and also allows you to have hard boiled scrambled eggs which is something we’ve never even thought about until now. Consider us sold.
If you’re interested in the Golden Egg, it’s currently wrapping up its Kickstarter campaign and we’re pleased to announce they have far surpassed their original funding goal of $34,500 by bringing in $152,646 at the time of this writing. Impressive and you’re not going to have to wait until next year to get one either.
The first batch of Golden Eggs are scheduled to roll out October and one can be yours for around $32 bucks, but there’s only a few days left in the campaign so you better act fast. There are also higher backing tiers available that include additional rewards if you want to kick things up a notch. Golden Goose.
