PancakeBot: World’s First Pancake Printer
March 13th, 2015 | by Kevin James Krotz
If you’ve ever looked down at your drab breakfast and thought that it could be more, you’re in luck. Introducing PancakeBot, the world’s first 3D-Printer for pancakes! No longer will your most exciting pancake shape be ‘mouse ears!’ PancakeBot gives anyone the power to turn their drawings into tasty pancakes!
The PancakeBot works by taking a drawing from software on a computer and traces the image with pancake batter. With the software, you can turn anything into a pancake tracing that you can continue to use…forever.
This wonderful invention of breakfast technology comes from the mind of Miguel Valenzuela, who originally made a pancake machine out of LEGO for his two daughters. The PancakeBot evolved from those humble origins and into “a product capable of creating pancakes like never before.”
Currently, the PancakeBot is being fundraised on Kickstarter, where it has already exceeded its goal of $50,000. The Kickstarter still has plenty of time to go, so if you’re hankering for a pancake-ring, go check it out!
